Katrina Johnson
Katrina Johnson is the Program Manager for the Durham Region Association of Black Professionals and Entrepreneurs (DRABPE). In this role, she oversees various initiatives aimed at empowering Black professionals and entrepreneurs within the community.
Before joining DRABPE, Katrina dedicated her career to working as a Child and Youth Worker, a field she is deeply passionate about. Her extensive community involvement includes serving on a board that organized monthly events to provide free meals and connect families with valuable community resources and services.
Katrina holds a diploma in Child and Youth Work from Centennial College and a bachelor’s degree in child and Youth Work and Sociology from Trent University.
In addition to her work with DRABPE, Katrina continues to engage in developmental studies on a part-time basis and is actively involved in volunteer work, serving her community in various capacities. She enjoys creative writing and occasionally performs spoken word and storytelling.
